TeeKay Petrojarl Productions has renovated their offices in Trondheim and replaced their closed office structure to an open area solution. Henrik Carstens of Mouversi managed the project and used DeAmp Panel and Corner Absorbers to improve the acoustics and create an aesthetic decoration with illustrations from TeeKay’s own oil tanker fleet.

NBC located at Lade in Trondheim, Norway were experiencing acoustical problems with the reverberation time of a meeting room and a smaller silent area room. They wanted to solve the acoustical issues as well as an esthetic lift to the rooms and installed DeAmp’s box absorbers with prints of their company logos and pictures from the city of Trondheim.

It is more and more common to experience acoustical problems also in private residential buildings. Large ceiling height, large window surfaces or extensive use of hard materials like concrete, tiles and hard wood floor are all factors contributing to a challenging acoustic environment. DeAmp has completed several installations where our sound absorbers are customized to solve these problems. Our plastic products can be delivered with printed illustrations of photos or they can be transparent or colored. Semitransparent solutions can be used together with creative lighting to create a stylish effect. When the emergency call center at Haukeland Hospital in Bergen was renovating their facilites, DeAmp box absorbers were chosen to improve acoustical conditions and contribute to a pleasant and efficient work environment.

In parts of the facilities at Gløshaugen Innovation Center students and employees experienced noise problems because of the solid concrete surfaces in the building. DeAmp was contacted in order to provide solutions suitable for both ceilings and walls. DeAmp installed box absorbers with printing and our aluminum absorber with integrated downlights.

Moland Film Company moved to a new office workplace in Oslo during the spring 2007. Their new modern open plan office space provides great flexibility and encourages communication and collaboration, but the company experienced noise problems because of the solid concrete surfaces in the building. DeAmp was contacted in order to find a solution for the acoustical problems while keeping the modern visual appearance intact.

The electron spectroscopy laboratory at Norwegian University of Science and Technology and SINTEF contains highly advanced instruments which are extremely sensitive to acoustic noise and vibrations. Low frequency sound waves interfere with instrument pictures because of reverberation in the laboratory. DeAmp created a solution specially tuned for the problematic frequencies.

Trondheim City Council experienced problems with the sound isolation in the NAV public customer reception area in Trondheim, Norway. Knut Møller in Trondheim City Council contacted DeAmp to find out whether DeAmp's innovative metal ceiling absorbers could improve the acoustical conditions.
